The story continues

Making bean-to-bar chocolate means taking total control of the chocolate making process, and Siamaya makes its own base chocolates from locally sourced Thai cacao beans. Our recipes combine cacao with ingredients such as milk, fruit, nuts and spices.

Siamaya continues to innovate Thai-inspired chocolates, using the best local cacao and the highest quality ingredients.

cacao farmer lampang

Meet our cacao farmers

Our cacao comes from farms in Thailand that we know by name. Khun Pathom runs the Thai Coffee & Cocoa Cooperation in Lampang, just south of Chiang Mai. He grows young cacao trees in his nurseries, supplies them to local farmers and supports them through the growing season. He then buys their harvests and ferments and dries the beans at his own facility in Lampang.

We have bought directly from Khun Pathom for years, and every batch can be traced from the farm to our bars.

Our chocolate is only as good as our ingredients. We buy cacao directly from farmers and local co-ops.
