The Story Behind Our Chocolate Bento Gift Box
Inspired by the timeless Thai pinto box, a vessel of tradition and connection, we created the Chocolate Bento Gift Box to honor this cultural heritage in a modern and delicious way.
Pinto (ปิ่นโต) refers to a traditional Thai lunch box.
It consists of three stacked containers, typically made of metal or bamboo, held together by a carrying frame. Pinto boxes are commonly used for bringing lunch to work, school, or for meals enjoyed outside the home.
Pinto boxes hold a significant place in Thai culture. When visiting temples, it is customary to offer food to the monks residing there, and these offerings are often presented in pinto boxes.
Just like a traditional pinto carries a variety of lovingly prepared meals, our bento box presents a five-course chocolate experience, each bar crafted with flavors that celebrate the essence of Thai cuisine: Tom Yum Dark Chocolate, Coconut Curry Dark Chocolate, Peanut Curry Dark Chocolate, Khao Soi Curry Milk Chocolate, and Thai Tea Milk Chocolate.
