After over six months of quietly opening our doors, we finally had the chance to celebrate our official grand opening! Our building has a rich history, having stood for more than 70 years. It first served as Chiang Mai’s very first motorcycle rental shop and later became the well-known Top Charoen eyeglass shop, famously marked by its vibrant blue-and-white-striped exterior for more than 10 years. When the eyeglass shop closed last year, Neil Ransom, CEO of Siamaya Chocolate, saw an opportunity to be a part of bringing new life to this amazing historic area. We decided to open a new branch here trying to be an iconic building on Thapae Road, transforming the building with a bold red color.
Our goal for this branch is to captivate tourists and introduce them to a chocolate experience they’ll never forget, allowing them to take a taste of Thai culture back home as a unique chocolate souvenir.
